Welcome to Dixie State College of Utah, an institution with a great legacy and a “can-do” pioneering spirit that encompasses our extraordinary faculty, dedicated staff and administration, and most importantly, you, our students.
As we progress toward our centennial celebration in 2011, Dixie State College of Utah remains true to its current mission, which is to strive to help you define, shape and achieve educational and life goals. As an institution, we will continue our dedication to provide personalized and excellent teaching in a learning environment where all of you can become passionate about your individual educational endeavors.
DSC currently offers a number of bachelor degree programs and we will continue to foster and strengthen these programs as we pursue full accreditation in each discipline. We will also continue to provide program offerings in selected high-demand areas and in core or foundational areas consistent with our established mission as a four-year institution.

| We will also remain true to our community college mission and strengthen and enhance programs and offerings consistent with that mission. We will work to add more two-year degree and certificate programs in the future to give students a wide variety of educational options to enhance their employment opportunities.
We desire to serve you, our students, and assist you in reaching your academic goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your president and I believe there are many goals that can be accomplished.
