Student Success & Retention Center (SSRC) falls under the supervision of the Director of Academic Advisement and is housed within the Academic Advisement Center
This department is responsible for:
Working with all Academic Intervention students
Responding to all Early Alert and Midterm Grade reports
Tracking all retention information and data on all students
Contact all non-returning students
Work with Business Services to get the purge list and communicate with the student’s weeks in advance of the purge. We purge at least 300 students a semester
Work with Registration to get a complete withdrawal list of student and contact them as to why they withdrew from school and what are their future intentions.
Work with Financial Aid to get the drop list and communicate with the student’s as to what we can do to help with their financial aid
Contact all students informing them of course registration dates
Contact all students that have not registered weeks following course registration.

Work with David Roos to fine tune Early Alert reports
Track the retention of all freshmen cohorts, fall to spring, spring to fall, fall to fall.
Track the Freshmen Student Inventory Survey
Track the retention of all Low Income/Underrepresented students
Oversee all Early Alert reports and communicate with students
Oversee all Mid Term Grade reports and communicate with students

Develop and provide intervention procedures for students that fall below a 2.0
Develop and provide intervention procedures for students that are placed on Academic Alert, Academic Warning, Academic Probation and Academic Suspension
Provide monthly or weekly academic intervention seminars for students that are in academic trouble
