STUDENT RESOURCES & FEATURES
Students must complete General Education (GE) requirements at Dixie State College or through equivalent courses at accredited colleges/universities. DSC GE requirements include:
- English (EN): 2 courses (ENGL 1010 and 2010) (you must received a C or better to advance from one English course to the next)
- Mathematics (MA): 1 course, Math 1030 or higher (C or better to advance from one class to the next)
- American Institutions (AI): 1 course
- Computer Skills (CP): 1 course (CIS 1200) (B- or better; test out option available)
- Information Literacy (IL): 1 course (LIB 1010), 1 credit, pass or fail class (Take with ENGL 1010)
- Life Sciences (LS): 1 course
- Physical Sciences (PS): 1 course
- Social Sciences (SS): 1 course
- Fine Arts/Communication (FA): 1 course
- Literature/Humanities (LH): 1 course

Testing fees: $15 for all three tests; $10 for one test; $15 for two tests taken at same time ($10 for first one - $5 for second); $15.00 for English with Reading (for English 1010)
