A welcoming gathering place for family, friends, and alumni for conferences, weddings, parties, reunions, and meetings.
Thanks to generous private donations, the Alumni House was built in 1996 as an institutional residence for the college president. Donors contributing were: Boulevard Home Furnishings and the Wittwer Family; Dennis Carter Construction; Dixie State College Foundation; Ruth McDonald; Dennis B. Patten, AIA; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sproul; Barbara and Leon Watson; and Wilkinson’s Electric, Inc.
The Dixie State College Board of Trustees approved the use of the unoccupied institutional residence as the Alumni house.
The Wade Alumni House is a charming and elegant location for all wedding events including ceremonies, receptions, luncheons, and dinners. Included with the rental is the Great Room, Brides Room, kitchen and dining area, patio, and Truman Garden area. Truman Gardens is a peaceful and inviting outdoor patio and yard ideal for any and all wedding events. Invision a garden reception, wedding, shower, or pary surrounded by roses, trees, and greenery.
