MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Institute for Business Integrity at Dixie State College is to provide a special ethics resource to the college and community at large. The purposes of the Institute include the following:

• Integrate integrity in the business curriculum
• Offer business forums approximately ten to eleven times per year
• Develop a web site which describes DSC's effort in promoting business ethics
• Recognize businesses in the region which exemplify integrity in their business practices
• Partner with the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center, Washington County Economic Development Council, and other organizations to promote business ethics
• Establish and utilize an advisory committee to assist the Director in the promotion of the mission
• Explore the possibility of conducting a regional or national conference on business integrity
