Varlo Davenport
Director of Theatre
Varlo Davenport is currently the Director of Theatre at Dixie State College where he teaches, directs plays and serves as program administrator. He has appeared in over fifty stage and film projects and has also directed several plays, including some favorites at DSC, Jekyll and Hyde, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Boys Next Door. He is the author and performer of the award winning one-person show John Wesley Powell: The Last American Adventure. He also performs as Wilford Woodruff in the one-person show Wilford Woodruff: God's Fisherman. Varlo is a graduate of Southern Utah University and has an MFA in Acting from The Ohio State University.

Brent Hanson
Theatre Department
Brent Hanson earned BFA and MFA degrees in design at the University of Utah. In 1993, he completed a Ph.D. degree in theatre and film at BYU. He has worked in the Theatre Department at Dixie College for the past twenty-three years. He has directed and designed numerous productions. He served as Artistic Director for the Hill Cumorah Pageant this past year, one of the country's largest outdoor dramas, which is staged each summer in upstate New York.

Michael Harding
Theatre Department
Harding is an assistant professor and theatre director at Dixie State College. He has worked as a professional actor and teacher for over a decade, having been a company member of several theaters across the country. He is also a member of the Actor’s Equity Association and has performed at the Tony- Award winning Intiman Theatre and Utah Shakespearean Festival. In addition, Harding has performed with the Utah Musical Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Wooden O Theatre, the Pioneer Theatre Company, The Warehouse Theatre and the Virginia Shakespearean Festival.

Brent Innes
Technical Director/Designer
While at Utah State University, Innes was the assistant technical director and scene shop foreman. In addition to his educational pursuits, he has nearly 10 years of backstage experience and has received national recognition for his light design work. As a graduate student, he was the designer for Utah State’s 2005 production of “MacBeth”, which won the Barbizon 10th-anniversary national lighting design competition.
