Stephanie Weaver is from Haiti. She recently moved to St. George from New York where she previously lived for 8 years. Stephanie received a bachelor degree from State University Of New York college at Potsdam in Philosophy, Politics, French and a minor in Women and Gender   Studies and recently finished with a Masters in education at the State University of New York college at Cortland in English as a Second Language. She and her husband are the proud owner of an over-stimulated Golden/lab retriever mix Lily and a American Short hair cat name Merlot.  She is very excited to be part of this fast growing community. She urges everyone to stop by the Multicultural/Diversity Center to get help or to just say hi.

Jayson Malufau
- Multicultural Advisor

I am from Laie Hi and, I am the oldest of  a family of nine. I am Samoan my families reside in the villages of Faleniu, Leone, Poloa and Aua. I graduated from Kahuku High school in Hawaii and played football and basketball. I found my way to St. George through athletics. While here I played for Dixie college on the football team from 2006-08 under Coach Haun. Now I am an assistant coach on the football team over the secondary. I have been here for almost four years now and received my bachelors degree in biology. My experience of Dixie state college has been wonderful everyone from faculty to students have been open and helpful. I am so grateful for the experience to work at the Multicultural/Diversity center. Its always nice to have a place to go and feel included and, that’s what I hope the Multicultural/Diversity center will continue to become.
