One of the most appealing characteristics of the Dixie State College family is our determination to develop the full potential of every student.  The Disability Resource Center faculty and staff demonstrate that core belief in ways great and small many times each day, and I know that the effort this commitment requires comes from the heart.

This website and the handbook are both designed to make each of us more effective in under-standing and responding to students whose learning styles and other abilities may differ from those to which we are accustomed.  These students are an important resource that our society cannot afford to neglect.

We are all teachers and mentors.  Our passion for assisting students to excel is a hallmark of  this institution.  This website and handbook will help all of us to be more effective in pursuing that shared mission together.
