Sunny St. George is a scenic two hours north of Las Vegas on I-15 near Zion National Park and surrounded by Vermilion cliffs and multi-hued sandstone. The community has a rich pioneer history and an interesting historic district. There are eight golf courses for public play and three national parks within a short distance. Our beautiful city of 45,000 enjoys mild winter temperatures (we play golf year-round), and views of distant peaks topped with snow.

The Dixie State College Elderhostel Center houses guests in an off-campus facility located in the heart of our historic district. All rooms have a private bath, with common areas for breakfast and leisure activities.
