Transfer Scholarships for Residents of Utah

If you graduated from a Utah High School prior to 2012 and have attended another college or university, you are considered a "Transfer Student." 

Transfer  students must be fully admitted to Dixie State College prior to  the May 1st deadline.  To be fully admitted, applicants must  complete the admissions application, pay the application fee, and submit all transfer transcripts.  Students who fail to complete the admissions process prior to May 1st will not be considered eligible for scholarship consideration.

Transfer Student Scholarship Eligibility Rules:

• A minimum of 24 transfer credits are required for scholarship consideration.
• Transfer GPA's of 3.30 to 3.499 will receive a one year $1,000 scholarship.
• Transfer GPA's of 3.50 to 3.749 will receive a $1,500 renewable scholarship.
• Transfer GPA's of 3.75 to 4.000 will receive a $2,400 renewable scholarship.
• Transfer students with Bachelors' Degrees are not eligible for academic scholarships at DSC.
•  All awards are subject to availability of funds.

Transfer students who meet all deadline and eligibility requirements as outlined above, will automatically be considered  scholarships, no additional application is required.

As Dixie State College does not offer mid-year transfer scholarships, students transferring to DSC in January will not be considered for a scholarship upon admissions.

Transfer Student Scholarships are awarded yearly. All applicants must be admitted and attending DSC beginning Fall Semester. Students transferring mid-year are invited to complete the "Continuing Student" applications after they have completed Spring Semester at DSC.
