MUSC 3005 - SUOSA Workshops
For elementary educators, as well as preschool, middle school, and physical and special education teachers. Focuses on Orff Schulzerk, a unique child-centered approach to music education based on the work of composer Carl Orff in which speech, song, dance, and play active engage children in making music using an array of melody and percussion instruments. Four workshops covering introductory Orff pedagogy will be supplemented by special sessions with experts on the child voice and early childhood music.
