At at additional cost, the Dixie State College Fitness Center offers a wide variety of personal training, group training, testing and other services designed to help individuals reach their fitness goals.

Assessing your fitness levels and goals

Fitness Center trainers are well trained in assessing the individuals fitness goals.  A variety of fitness testing is available at minimal cost.  By assessing current levels and future progress trainers can better develop programs to fit individual needs.  Available testing includes:

  • Body fat percentage testing
  • Site measurements
  • Flexibility testing
  • Strength testing
  • Endurance testing
  • Cardiovascular fitness testing

Personal training, group training, and custom program design

Several assisted training options are available for Individuals seeking to improve their overall fitness and accomplish fitness goals.  Dixie Fitness offers individual personal training, group training, and custom program design at reasonable costs to students, non-students, faculty and staff.  The cost for most of our personal training programs is less than $30 per session depending upon the number of sessions requested.  Costs for group training is as little as $7 per session.
