Annual Gifts

Stay in touch with Dixie State College by giving to annual fund.  Twice a year you receive in the mail the opportunity to support DSC.  These funds are used to provide scholarships, support a particular program or project as you indicate.  Support from our alumni and friends has a direct impact on Dixie State’s ability to make education attainable and affordable.

Every gift counts no matter the size.  Your gift allows students to attend school who couldn’t without your support.  Your gifts impact the future!

Capital Gifts

As DSC expands and plans for the future, it must continually reinvest in facilities which support teaching and learning.  Gifts to upgrade existing buildings, build new structures, acquire land, and enhance campus landscaping enrich the DSC experience for the college community.

Endowment Gifts

Endowment gifts expand the college’s permanent financial base and create a source of future income for such needs as student scholarships, faculty positions, building upkeep, academic and athletic programs.

Planned Gifts

Deferred or planned gifts include bequests, life-income plans, and other options.  These vehicles may increase your income, earn valuable income-tax deductions and reduce your estate taxes.  Specific examples of planned gifts are:

  • Wills, Trusts, Bequests
  • Retirement Plans such as IRA and 401K
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Charitable Lead Trusts
  • Life Insurance

Corporate and Foundation Gifts

Throughout the years, corporations and foundations have been very generous to DSC.  Such collaborative partnerships provide support for the people and ideas that are the foundation of Dixie State College.  Generous donations have been received to construct buildings, fund scholarships, and support our academic and athletic programs.  We value this partnership and look forward to an ongoing relationship with the corporate and foundation world.
