Pre-Requisite Courses

*IMPORTANT: Pre-requisites must be completed by the end of Spring semester in order to be eligible to apply for the following Fall Cohort, but only those courses completed by the end of the FALL semester prior to applying will be awarded points towards the total admission score.  (See Application Scoring)

ENGL 1010 (Introduction to Writing) 3 Credits

*LIB 1010 (Information Literacy) Co-Requisite for ENGL 1010 at DSC 1 Credit

ENGL 2010 (Intermediate Writing) 3 Credits:
To decide which ENGLISH course must be taken a college placement exam or ACT score needs to be known. The ENGLISH sequence is ENGL 0990 then ENGL 1010.

*LIB 1010 may be waived for students who transfer in English 1010 and/or English 2010

COMM 2110 (Interpersonal Comm) or COMM 1020 Public Speaking 1 Course/3 Credits:

*RADT 1010 (Introduction to Radiography) 2 Credits, offered fall/spring semesters, open enrollment

BIOLOGY (BIOL) 9-14 Credits:

*BIOL 2320/2325 (Human Anatomy & Lab)

*BIOL 2420/2425 (Human Physiology & Lab)

*These science courses must be taken within the last 7 years.

PSY 1010 (Psychology) 1 Course/3 Credits

MATHEMATICS 1 Course/4 Credits: MATH 1050 (College Algebra)
To decide which MATH course must be taken a college placement exam or ACT score needs to be known. The MATH sequence is MATH 0920, MATH 0990, MATH 1010 then MATH 1050.
