Humanities

Humanities courses help students understand important concepts, terms,
ideas, methodologies, thinkers, and creators related to the arts, literature,
philosophy, history,
and social sciences.

These courses also strengthen students' ability to think critically, analytically, and
concretely about important social and personal questions and to communicate
those thoughts effectively in written and oral discourse.

The Humanities Program is located in the McDonald Center
for Humanities and Social Sciences.
