Courses in philosophy provide an overview of theories about the nature of existence, knowledge, truth, freedom, autonomy, aesthetics, ethics and logic. Philosophy 1000 and 1120 help fill humanities requirements for graduation. Philosophy courses are beneficial to students considering a major in philosophy, humanities, psychology, sociology, public administration, law, business, or medicine.
