A number of Dixie State College vendors have special requirements which you'll need to know to help you buy their products.  The following special instructions are important if you're shopping with these vendors:

Costco - Costco does not take our purchasing cards.  They take only American Express.  However, they will take a mini purchase order or a regular purchase order.  You must purchase at least $50 of product to use a purchase order. There is also a 1.5% service fee for processing a purchase order. To obtain the tax exempt status, please check out a Costco membership card with Christie at extension 7613.  If you don't use a DSC card, you'll have to pay tax. Since we all share two DSC membership cards, please bring the card back immediately. Present your mini po or purchase order to the clerk as you check out.  They will also have you sign a tax exemption form.  If they ask you if the items you're buying are for resale, SAY YES!!  Otherwise, you'll be charged tax.  If you're using a mini purchase order, YOU MUST FILL IN THE TOTAL YOURSELF OR THEY WON'T ACCEPT IT AS A VALID PURCHASE ORDER.

Home Depot - You will need our commercial account number which is 6035 3225 0269 3082 and your purchasing card or purchase order to get a tax exemption at Home Depot.  Write this number on your purchase order if you're using one.  Make sure to tell the clerk you're with Dixie State College, and give him/her our main phone number 435-652-7500.  They may also ask you for our tax exempt number which they have assigned to our account which is 604075871.

Lowe's - Our tax exempt number with Lowe's is 111800005.  They do take purchase orders and purchasing cards.

OfficeMax - They do not take purchase orders.  Please use your purchasing card.

Staples - Our customer number with Staples is 601110001370113.  You need to tell them this number no matter how you're paying for the products to receive the tax exemption. Write this number on your purchase order if that's what you're using to pay.

Target - Target does not take purchase orders.  Please use your purchasing card.

Walmart - Our tax exempt number with Walmart is 47001.  You must write this on your purchase order.  In addition, write the following credit account number on your purchase order 603220200046784601.   You may petrify trying to check out of Walmart if you don't have these numbers!
