The Dick Nourse Center for Media Innovation (CMI) was formed for the purpose of providing hands-on professional experience to students at Dixie State College. This program is unique in the state of Utah and is headed up by Phil Tuckett, multiple Emmy award winning producer and alum of Dixie State College. Their student-operated enterprises include radio, television, online, newspaper, and film production entities. For the Dixie Bowl, CMI is partnering with Stan Everett and his crew at DTV (formerly CEC) television, who will provide professional supervision, equipment, and production expertise to the broadcast of this game. This is the first of many such joint-ventures that CMI and DTV will undertake during the coming year.
