Once you have provided the required application materials your application for admission can be reviewed. If you are accepted you will receive an I-20, and information on how to submit the I-901 form and fee of $100.00. The fee must be paid before your visa interview and it is best if you have the receipt of payment with you during your interview. The I-901 fee is NOT paid to Dixie State College of Utah. Visa Interview
It is a good idea to check with the U.S. consulate or embassy near you to see if you need an appointment for your visa interview and what materials you should bring to that interview. Some times you must wait several days for your interview appointment.
Arriving on Campus
St. George has an airport with regular flights from Sky West airlines. Or the Las Vegas airport is 120 miles to the South. If you choose to fly into Las Vegas, a shuttle service runs regularly to provide transportation to St. George. Once you arrive, you may need to stay in a hotel if your housing is not yet available. The following is required once you arrive on campus:
Health Insurance - The student must provide proof that they have obtained health insurance.
College Placement Test (CPT) - The student will be directed to the testing center to take the CPT. (Test costs $15.00 and a photo I.D. is required)
Tuberculin Skin Test (TB Test) - The student will be given information where to obtain a TB Test. (Minimal Fee)
