Police Officer Selection Test
The POST measures critical learning skills necessary to perform successfully in an entry level Police Officer Position.
The POST consists of four parts:

Mathematics (20 minutes)

Reading Comprehension (25 minutes)

Grammar (15 minutes)

Incident Report Writing (15 minutes)

Test Time and Fees
Testing every Tuesday at 6 pm for $35.00, (Summer: 4 pm) Alternate testing times available for an additional $10.00. We are open Sat: 2 - 10 pm; Sun: 4 - 10 pm; Mon thru Fri: 9 am - 10 pm
Summer hours: Mon: 9 am to 6 pm; Tues & Thurs: 9 am to 10 pm; Wed & Fri: 9 am to 6 pm, Sat & Sun: 4 pm to 10 pm.

Preparation
A POST study booklet is available in the college library or may be purchased at a cost of $3.00 from the DSC Testing Center. A duplicate POST passing certificate is available at the DSC Testing Center for a cost of $5.00 each.
More basic skill training can be obtained from Adult Education by calling for an appointment. Call 652-7728.
Official results are received and mailed out a week following testing date.
