What is Educational Talent Search?
Dixie State College’s Educational Talent Search Program has been assisting students in this area since 1991 . It is an academic enrichment program you can join at your high school. It is part of the TRiO Programs which are funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The ETS Program identifies and assists qualified students, many of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds. During the school year your Educational Talent Search Advisor will visit your school and meet with the participants either in groups or individually.
What happens in the Educational Talent Search meetings?
Your ETS Advisor will conduct workshops and activities that provide you with valuable information—but in fun ways. Not only do you learn about college, careers, study skills, and classes you need to enroll in but you improve your interpersonal skills by interacting with others.

How can I join Educational Talent Search?
You must attend one of the following schools and be in the 7th through 11th grades: Dixie High/Middle School, Enterprise High School, Millcreek High School, Hurricane High/Middle School, Pine View High/Middle School, or Snow Canyon High/Middle School. Visit the ETS Advisor at your school and fill out an application form and return it to your ETS Advisor.
